414 RWHP 395 RWTQ- 00 Black Ram Air Trans Am
First time with a SRT-4
I didn't even really want to run with him, as I had just gotten pulled over 2 days earlier and the cop let me go But this guy was being a real a$$hole, weaving in and out and finally catching me and getting right up my ass to let me know he was there. So when it opened I dropped to 3rd(60mph) and let him pull up next to me. We gave each other the look and went and it got ugly quick. Buslengths by the time I was at 125-130ish, he ended up getting off at the same exit as me about 2 miles down the expressway, but he wouldn't even look towards me. Mods are in sig.

Used to be considered a "large" cam, but not anymore For my needs it is perfect. I DD the car 50 miles everyday to and from work in stop and go traffic, and the cam is fine. It doesn't kick in til around 2800 and gives me good power all the way up to 5850 RPMs, that's where it peaked on the dyno

You know what you are right now that I think about it, he was a punk. When he pulled up at my side he had his arm up over top of the wheel like he was some kinda pimp or gangster, giving the you wanna go hardass look. Hope he learbed his lesson, better get a stage 2 or 3 or some serious mods beofre he comes to play, stock ain't cutting it nowadays

I ran a stock auto and 6-speed. With the auto we went from a roll and i pulled 1.5 cars till 90 then he started to come back. We shut em down bout 130 and he was a half a car back. The 6-speed that i ran couldnt drive. We went from a dig and i ate him outa the whole and stayed bout a car in front till 110. And i raced a Z28 at the track(dunno if it was an auto or stick) But he was only running 15s dunno what was wrong with the car......or driver. Its pretty close with stock ls1s

Having owned both a stripper 6 speed 2002 Z28 and an 05 srt-4 I can say there is no comparison to the power you feel in the LS1, it just doesn't stop pulling where as my Neon is quick in spurts but it just doesn't have it everywhere in the powerband like my Z had. Where as my Z could just obliterate a Mustang GT my SRT-4 takes a little longer but can edge them out, I'm planning on Stage 3 come bonus time this December so hopefully I can get some of the lost power I have been missing back! At least the Neon is easier to park and is holding it's value pretty well so that's at least some peace of mind, although I miss my Z(idiot rear ended me at 35mph).

there is nothing "ricerish" about turbo motors... rice does not refer to any import either. Rice is a general term to describe imports that are more show than go, i.e. huge body kits, massive wings, and the notorious window stickers THAT ADD 10 HP EACH!!! Rice is the gang of beat up honda civics in your town with the non mathicng body kit, dented fenders, and exhaust with hole drilled in it and a 5 inch muffler tip... can't forget the air intakes that are shaped to look like a front mount...have any of you people seen those? good god.....

I love my Volant, love the way it lookd under the hood. I have my Ram air debaffled and sealed so each nostril feeds directly into a cone(2 come setup)....only problem is filters buckle alot, like thye are imploding from sucking in air, and they aren't cheap to replace.

Yes and no. In the very beginning, the term "rice" depicted any Japanese made sport compact. Rice and Asians went hand and hand (obviously). However, over the years the term "rice" evolved... which now depicts any vehicle with more exhaust, stickers and body kits that are really even needed, or for a better description, ridiculously gawdy...
Sweet kill Hurley!
