F-body, Cobra, and SRT4

I raced my friend 3 times in her 95 completely built cobra and pulled all 3 times then I ran our buddy in his SRT4 and beat him twice....sadest part is I was in 3rd and he was in 2nd....and my car is stock

you never know, i have seen some (so called) built cars . they were rebuilt but not built, know what i mean? built to run but not much better. i guess the folks that fall into that group, dont study up on parts or the performance of said parts. i think they mostly look at the price side of it.

True. However, in this case, we're talking about a completely built '95 Cobra, matched against a bone stock '00 Camaro. A stock LS1 shouldn't be pulling on such a Cobra, unless the Cobra is employing a weak driver, of course...

Exactly, I almost ran into the back of a Mustang with a liscense plate that said PWR2BRN. He took off in front of me, I believed his plate and took off after him and the next thing I knew I almost ate his trunk.

You ever been to Summersville, West Virginny? I went up there rock climbing a month ago, around the New River Gorge area.

Good kills, especially the Cobra. I haven't gotten ahold of an SRT-4 yet, but it won't be long...

I ran a buddy of mines srt-4 he had a intake and bigger wastegate. From a 60 roll with me in third(I did't think he really wanted to run) he got a jump on me but by end of third I went flying by him.

Stock 95 Cobra's aren't big. They had the 5.0 H.O. engines and were only rated at like 240, not muhc higher than the Gt At ALL, unlike the 96-98 Cobra's, and besides the Cobra Intake, barely better of the Gt and a few other SMALL things it isn't that different. That being said... any 5.0 with heads cam intake and a tune is easily putting down 300rwhp+++ and around 350 rwt, give or take. Which is enough for high 12's with traction.

So either

1. They COULDNT Drive.

2. Or it in fact was not BUILT.....

It is my GF's cobra....i know it's built ive been there but driving wise i think i would win....ive gotten 3 marraige proposals just this weekend after taking people for rides in their cars HAHA

Hmmm lets see, tranny has a king cobra clutch kit, motor is stroked to a 308 not sure what internals she has but I know she replaced them in school and the complete top end is trick flow, i know im forgetting some stuff but I am just waking up so its ok...dyno'd around 340/360 and ran an 11.1 at the track.

yup, a bone stock lt1 will beat those. built??? you can beat a intake, exhaust cobra. but by no way in hell a built one. built means built, not tinkerd.

11.1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if that is true. she could fry every inch of tire and still smoke you. your high 13's, or low 14's. hell she could start in third and at a bill go buy you like you were parked. 11 second cars dont loose to 14second cars. ever!!! no matter how much tire fryin is going on.

nice kills tho. its more like a 5.0 with exhaust, and you beat it. awesome.

nice kill on the srt-4 also. nothing like fried rice!
