Midnight Blue- 1998 Camaro Z28 A4
Castle's Freeway Action! (Funny)
Cruising home on the freeway last night, I spotted a new STi & a '03 Cobra, both with visible mods (like exhaust, suspension underneath, etc).
STi is in the fast lane, 03 Cobra is over 2 lanes & the Cobra guy has his hand out the window counting down as if they are about to race.
Their pace was around 70mph.
Funniest shit ever, I pull right in between them on the countdown & revved hard (while laughing my ass off).
The Cobra jumps on it immediately before I can put it back down in <Drive> & stomp on it (Yes A4).
The STi jumps on it at the same time I do.
I managed to slightly pull ahead of the Cobra by about 1/4 car, but didn't pull ahead any further than that on him.
The STi was hanging with us about 3 cars back.
Cobra pulls off the freewar on to merge to another freeway & throws a peace sign.
I slow down to about 65mph, the STi pulls up next to me & wants to go again.
We raced 2 more times while on the freeway & he got owned both times, where he finally reduced his speed to cruising, giving up.
This my friends, is called a "2 for 1!"
Thanks for reading, Castle.

Thanks for the input, I was surprised the STi kept up as well as he did.
Then again who knows what toys he had...

I highly doubt it was an 03 cobra, considering your only putting down 346. Bone stock there 390(underated). Not saying it wasnt a cobra but couldnt have been an 03 or 04, possibly an 01.

Reminds me of the time I was driving my '92 Beretta GT and I was rollin' a Probe GT on a multiple lane interstate in light traffic and once I started passing the Probe I hear something insainely loud over to my left. I look over and it's a red WS.6 unleashing hell!
Me=
Cool that the Cobra showed respect and that's nuts the STi kept up as well as he did! Thanks for sharing.

thank you captain obvious, still i would like you find a cobra driver stock against an m6 stock ls1 and see what the results would be. I am an ls1 man all the way, well ls3 now too. But I still can respect what ford has for a "stock" vehicle.
Just curious if you were 346 before what are you currently?

The corrected dyno #'s are coming, still fixing kinks with the new engine.
All the stuff below was wrong during the dyno:
- 5 Exhaust Leaks on the Y-Pipe/back
- 2 '02 Sensors were not reading at all
- Header Gasket leaks in 4 places
- Small hole in one collector
- Tensioner spring on my aftermarket pulley was giving
All of that stuff has been fixed and I have been trying to schedule a re-flash/dyno.
