Camaro SS (V6)! GRRRRRRRRRR!
Last night me and my girl was just chilling and cruising. I just got off the phone with my granny and the conversation went sour. I wasn't so happy at the moment. We got out on the road after we ate at sonic and I'm just taking it easy watching my mirrors to see if I spot anything interesting. All of a sudden I see 4th1/2 gen Camaro headlights pulling up on my right side. I didn't see a scoop so I was thinking a Z or a 6. Must not be a Z because most likely he would've pulled up next to me some what and I had to slow down to see what it was. Next thing I know as soon as he gets next to me he kinda shoots off and I notice SS badges on the side and rear, but no SS spoiler. No tags either. I was hot at first then I forgave the guy because I figured if he didn't have tags then he probably didn't put the badges on either. Anyhow I did down shift to like 2nd and shot right up beside him and let me tell you he had nothing for me. He didn't even look over and soon turned off.
I was hoping he didn't think he bought an SS, because that's just wrong especially if its a 6.

thats crazy man. i hate when people do that shit.
last night i pulled up to a trans am. it was no doubt a trans am, because for christ sakes i would think i would know. i see this kid and he looks like a goober with a fake tan and those weird multi color lense sunglasses so i laugh to myself and pull up. i rev at him and ask if he wants to go. i guess my car is loud because i have no muffler but its pretty stock. the kid says, "no man my car isnt a v8" when in fact it was a v8......
sad story. saw the car later, heard it...an ls1 for sure.
what a chicken shit.

Arctic White- 1998 Formula
was driving down to the local weekend spot and saw a 04 GOAT (LS1/m6)and a 01 T/A(a4) line up. put it this way, the t/a shuld have just stayed still. are the LS1 GOAT's that much faster????? Spoke to him later and all he has is 3:73's. stock exhaust/intake etc......
If you have the means and the desire, be prepared to do whatever it takes.
so far:
suncoast creations functional ram air setup,pacesetter LT's/ORY,magnaflow,pro 5.0,hurst stick,LS6 cam,4:10 gears/stock rear(screaming for mercy!!!)
-still more to come!!!!!!

The power NUMBER in the Goat is 350, but I think most of us know the LS1 made that when it first came out
EDIT: maybe he missed a gear or just sucks THAT bad?

if it was a manual gto up against an automatic t/a i could see the goat winning. but manual for manual or auto for auto the t/a SHOULD have waxed him pretty badly.
f bodies are typically a few tenths faster than their gto counterpart, all ls1's, stock for stock.
transmission type and driver ability also makes a BIG difference.
