Yeah.... duh, Challenger R/T’s (5.7l) are not competitive against stock Camaro SS’s, heck, even if my WS6 was bone stock, I wouldn’t be concerned with one beating me.

Race of the stop light would be more appropriate, not the century lol. Mid 12 second car Vs. 14 flat/high 13s. Not much of a race.

Yeah, I wonder if the level of buyers remorse for Challenger R/T’s is close to that of the 88-92 Camaro RS V8s.

    2016 Camaro SS - Summit
    2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM

My work buddy has a 392 Scat Pack Challenger. With a tune and exhaust he's a couple lengths behind me, not bad for a land yacht. But I've never been concerned with the 5.7 crowd, not with my 4th gen, and definitely not now.

2016 Summit White 1SS - The DD - Mishimoto catch can, Solo axleback & secondary cat delete, LED sidemarkers & reverse lights, head/taillight blackout, RCC custom badges

Yeah, the 5.7l version was released about a decade to late (or more) to be competitive in its segment. It might be potent enough to make bone stock 4th Gen LT1s have concerns.
