c5 vette vs. my z

i got a buddy that i work with that has a bone stock '00 c5 a4. usually he rides his r1 to work but last week he drove his vette to finally. i talked him in to following me out on the highway cuz i wanted to see if i could hang with him from a punch. well we're doin like 50 and he says when to go and i hit 2nd and leave, thing is he didnt move so i let up and when i did he flew by me. he calls me on the cell phone and says what happened? i told him what i did and i talked him into going again. same speed but this time i didnt let up, when i shifted to 3rd he hung i little but as the revs climbed i left him. i let up once i hit 4th and had about 2 car lengths on him. then all of the sudden i see the overheads of a cop car coming from the other side of the highway and i hit the brakes and slow down, my buddy does the same and too our surprise its a cop from a city quite far away and he isnt even paying attention. i almost sh*t a brick

cuz we were doin like 105 or something...not real sure, wasnt paying attention. also, he had his a/c on and i didnt, but he was alone and i had another buddy with me that weighs about 300 pounds.

Man you are sure doing alot of street racing. Becareful man or it will catch up to you. Good kill by the way.

Why doesn't anyone list their mods to make the stories believable.

Why would someone go racing w/ a 300lb passenger?

Good kill. That is a big mofo. I had a buddy that was 375 with me in the Cobra once, and a bud in the back that was at least 150. I took off from a dead stand still and suffered a NOSE OVER BOG of epic proportions, and got my ass handed to me by a Lightning. I never raced with anybody in the car again. It was at a stoplight or some crap. I shouldn't have even attempted it.

at what point of time did he mention that? it was 2 guys, each in their own car.

thanks. i dont know why i've got into so many races cuz usually i go months without a race. i've got to watch my ass tho cuz the po po will eventually catch me.

and for my passenger, he is a big dude he is like 6'4'', he asked me to give him a ride to his vehicle (mustang) and i told him i cant cuz i was gonna run the vette and he was like take me take me, like a little baby- so i did. my mistake. and mods are suncoast creations ram air, ported and polished throttle body with bypass and bumpstop mod,and slp maf. y-pipe with 1 cut out and flowmaster muffler- soon to be a magnaflow with LTs, i orderd the LTs off ebay like an hour ago! cant wait!!
