So I'm driving out of my neighborhood and I stop at a light I'm turning right. I look left and see this bad boy and think to myself...No way. I reverse switch lanes and turn left. I catch up to it and confirm. The Bugatti Veyron.



I weave in and out of traffic and end up directly behind him and just my luck he's headin to the highway.



I'm tryin to get this picture for my friends to prove it but in the back of my head I'm thinkin RACE .

So I pull up. Snap this pic with my Iphone and look down; I'm doin 105 tryin to keep up with him and its not making any noise



Snap the pic put down my phone, drop it into 4th. I hear him drop gears and this fucker opened up. It sounded like a jet, no exaggeration, a jet so I'm inchin closer to get the race started and BAM this boner cuts me the F**k off. I didn't get the chance to race but I did see the Veyron and it was gonna happen.

Sorry I shut you guys down like sobering up while in bed with skeletor but I thought I'd share.

Exactly. I wouldve loved to see how bad I woulda raped a 16 cylinder-4turbo-AWD- Excuse for a fast car. ha I hate them but it is much nicer in person.

I would think so, 1001hp is nice even for a 4300lbs car. It has 10 radiators BTW, 3 for the engine.

That thing is such a waste of money. Show that thing put out 2000 or 3000streetable horsepower and then I might appreciate it but 1000hp out of basically 2 twin turboed V8's? cmon, there are vettes out there with half of all of that stuff out there.

I think the horsepower thing is gettin out of hand to be honest. I had no problem with seeing 435 horsepower in top of the line vettes but the ZR1 is playing with 700, And who needs to go 200mph? I would rather see a car that is fastest down a 1/4 mile. Eh, I'm speaking out of my ass.

But thats just it, people who buy these cars arent drag racers they are either A. old rich guys who want a nice fast car but dont really need it. Or B. rich enthusiast who could careless about 1/4mile time and want top speed/track performance. Yes there are many built cars with 1000hp but they made this engine to churn out 1000hp and stil lbe underworked, its not supposed to be an all out horsepower engine.

I agree the it is a bit ridiculous but you have to appreciate the technology and craftsmanship that went into the thing. I mean isn't it completely hand built? I watched a program on t.v. about the development and how they build them and it was astonishing.

I know Montana and Nevada at one time had no speed limits on some roads. But other than that where can you go 200 mph legally? Eh. I'm speaking out of my ass also.

That too, but many of us have done 160 in f-body, i ran my 87 supra up to high 170s and i have topped out my 600rr all of which is probably just as or more dangerous as doing 200mph in a veyron.
