somewhere between 600 - 700 rwhp just to keep up... there stock (+ exhaust) top end is easily over 175, and with a average rider can trap over 150. Its pretty much all about calculating your weight per HP. Most 1liter sport bikes weigh in around 450# + 150# rider, with 130 rwhp = 4.6# per HP, I've never weighed my car, but I'm guessing its somewhere around 3300 lbs with me in it..., @ 360 rwhp it puts me at over 9# per hp, but with 700 rwhp (I WISH!!!) it works out to 4.7# per HP.
keep in mind I've seen lightly modified busa pushing 200rwhp, and turbo apps breaking 300. But, I have also seen alot of guys with extremely fast bikes who have no clue how to use them anywhere near their full potential. Hopefully you got one hell of a beast if plan on going up against anything 1000cc or more.

It'll probably take a 300shot of NOS & a big H/C combo w/ full bolton's of course, & stuff to put the power to the ground. I'd also suggest fully gutting your car, including the passenger seat. Lexan windows and battery relocation. You're gonna have to make 800rwhp at bare minumum. You might have a chance.

it's one thing to pull from a 60 roll but to take them in the quarter is going to be tough against a good rider. Not to many riders out there can handle launching or even riding a thousand. My gsxr 1000 was bad to the bone I loved that thing I had it to 185 in fifth gear with out hitting the red line once and still had sixth before I ran out of road.

get you at least a 200 shot and leave with it sprayin and hope that your not up against a good rider, which as stated very few people have the balls to ride a bike like that to its potential

Silver- 1998 Formula
A friend of mine has a '73 Camaro with a 445 CI small block that pushed 860 on the dyno, all motor. It's got a powerglide tranny, and runs low 9's on motor. He wore a Hayabusa out not too long ago on the track. It wasn't stock. The guy told us what he'd done to it, but the only thing I remember was an extended swing arm. We beat him by a lot; close to a second on most runs. He ran about the same MPH as us though, around 145. Hayabusa's are fast as shit, but it's very rare to find someone who can drive them to their potential...in my experience, anyway. I'm not hating on Hayabusa owners, though. I KNOW I wouldn't be able to drive one. lol

[QUOTE=01ws6er;1490331]The new busa's run 9's stock, with a good rider, so I'm gonna guess a LOT!!!
I think 1000's run in the low-mid 10's stock...???[/QUO
I was watching a show on the Speed channel where contestants have to guess the quarter times of the cars/bikes that pass and some 16 year old was riding a brand new 08'' hayabusa...He freakin ran a 9.63 on his first pass ever!! I was impressed

It all depends on rider, just like u said. avg. rider on a roll race, bring the big nos h/c/i gun. on the drag strip avg. rider will not launch well but might walk u down.

you are better off buying a busa and beating them with your modded busa then trying to mod your car to the point of beating them. O and you better be in the 9's

All the bike mags I've seen put these bikes in the low 10s, but at 140+ mph. If you wanna stay with a Hayabusa, I think it's going to take more than 800 at the wheels.
Good luck,
Chris
