99 T/A Raced 2009 BMW V-10 500 hp

ok, so im getting off the freeway and I have a black BMW on my ass I see an old white haired probably 60 year old man behind me, the light turns red right after we merge onto the BLVD he pulls up next to me and revs, my girl friend said my god blow him away "I think its a standard BMW did'nt know it was M5 until I saw his tail lights" the light turns green and we both launch hard I took him by one whole car length off the start and start pulling away from him, after 45-60 roughly he starts walking away from me pretty easly I shut down around 80-85 and he was like 3-4 car lengths up on me, when I got home I looked up the stats on that car and was like WOW, I am surprized I gave him a run for his money at the begaining of the race i'm not ashamed at all, I am pretty close to stock as well, catback,lid/k&n 3.23 a4, that was a REAL RUSH!

To launch a new M5 you have to go into the idrive system and set the controls. He was just to lazy and it takes about 10-15secs to set it up if you know what you are doing.

He just thought he would whip you good, and it looks like you surprised him. Good job.

You can run the M5 with a 400hp setting or 500hp setting too.

One started messing with me when I was in the S4 and I knew better. Plus the girl friend was with me and last time I ran someone with her in the car my right arm had a huge bruise on it for days lol...

LOL, My woman always tries HARD for me to race!! HAHA But I won't do it on the street. I bought her a helmet and let her take a few passes with me at the track tho, She Screams the whole way!! We have fun with it.

Yeah not so much with mine, she lays the biggest guilt trip on me when I have a little fun on the street. I always have to tell her that she has'nt seen shit, and then im on my own the rest of the night with miss.Rosey palm haha.....

well thats funny cuz i walked one a couple of months back but it was 650i. so less power there.

i know exactly what you are talking about. my wife hates when i get on it or anything like that when we are in my car. she just doesnt understand how much fun these cars are. she says im going to tear something up, i say, this is how these cars are built to be driven. and go figure, it seems like the only time i get GT's to throw me a rev or want to have some fun is when she(the wife) is w/me. and i just ignore them sadly, because like u said, id rather my right arm(im right handed lol) not be sore, plus also id like the sink my willy in her vajilly.
