    97 gt re race!

i posted the race last year when i raced this mustang. well it blew and went to a new owner, his best friend and he put a p71 engine in it with new tranny and told me with new 275's it kiks sideways at 70.. well since that happened i got full bolt ons and what not still on stock tune. 2 weeks ago we are leaving school and he gets up beside me and we are doing 55 so i see he looks down so i get ready and put it in second waiting for him to hit it and he did and i followed, i spun, we were even till i grabbed 3rd and by 110-115 i had prolly 2.5 to 3 cars maybe. i figured i would have pulled a lil harder. Still good run he was extremely happy to keep up that good. He went and got i dynoed this week since it was on old tune and he put down 362rwt and 306 rwhp reason hp is low is cuz he has a miss fire on cylinder#5 at 4500rpm and greater. this month i sending pcm off to frost and also just put 3.73's in this week so we will do a re run for sure and definitely get it on video.

damn what does he have to put down 362whp N/A??? Most 4 valves can't even throw down those numbers with cams and bolt ons.

So when he was on the dyno this last go around, there wasn't a tuner over-seeing any computer read-out information?

If he was close in the D.C. area, there is supposedly a badass tuner here that a few mustang mags go to for all their stuff. Hell, he may even be able to point him in the right direction over the phone. The local guys talk about him, like there's not even another one on the planet, he's so good

IMO, a real good dyno tuner is one that can diagnose all the problems. Frost is one, but he deals with us GM guys. I can't remember the name, but I can find out this weekend, if it helps.

he figured it out, thanks though, it was his intake gasket and plug wire.. i honetly think he is full of shit. Just becuase he said his dyno numbers to me then after he told me he got it fixed a few days later i asked him again what he put down and he said i put down 324 and 385tq??? wtf a few days ago u said something less. He said he is going back this weekend to get re dynoed and tuned on 93 octane... He was on 87 but i just dont believe him at all anymore, i know its quick but i dont believe the numbers at all.
