5.0 vs. new Tahoe
Today i was walking out of a convience store when i heard a loud ass mustang holding it in a low gear at high RPM. I glanced up and saw a red 5.0gt that this kid is always speeding around town in and he was rolling next to a newer white Tahoe. The mustang takes off and so does the Tahoe...I could see pretty far down the street they were racing on an it looked like the Tahoe pulled that mustang pretty hard. Sorry about the long/stupid post i just thought it was funny and other people that dislike mustangs would too.

ya no doubt, when of the mechanics at my workplace has a Black one with just tints and it looks sick. Love the way that thing looks, for some reason to me it looks smaller then the regular trailblazer but i think its just fooling my eyes.

Most Mustang owners would look at the TB and say, yeah right...well I own a 2008 TBSS and I know how quick it is. They aren't bad for an SUV, but to even consider running an older version Mustang against one (unless it was modded) would be crazy. Those Tahoes with the right motor are running 0-60 in 5.7 or so. That's not too shabby for a family tank.

I think its the bumpers that make it look smaller. theyre more curvy instead of jutting out and being boxy

Most trucks got some balls until 50 or 60. They have trq and some pretty steep gearing from factory for towing purposes. But from a roll at higher speeds you remember why they are trucks and not muscle cars.
