2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Is this a roll or dig race?
If a dig I'm afraid he may chew you up and spit you out. Roll race depends on when he hits the button. Immediately and he may spin. Otherwise he just may pass you on the top end. It all depends on what is done to his car.
Who has what kind of tranny?
Unless he doesn't have a clue about racing the car...

I would want to know his full list of mods. His blah blah mods could be trick flow heads, cam, intake, 3:73's, and fat set of drag radials. But if the blah blah mods are just pulleys and cold air then its a different story. Im not real sure on how the outcome woud go, just try to get that sht on tape!

I raced one at the track Similar mods, He had a 125 shot, The guy ran 8.30's in the 1/8th on DRs, I would think its gonna be a good race for you. But I would say his extra 50 shot is gonna get the pull on you.

Stock it had 210 to the wheels. I think
so with a 150 shot thats a 360ish to the wheels on a light car...

It all matters what blah blah is. If it's a stockish AOD car with stock gears you'll own him, if it's a stockish 5spd car you'll win but he might be able to take you from a roll. If it is a 5spd car with gears, nitrous and some DR's he might take you. If he's got h/c/i on top of gears, nitrous and DR's it could get ugly.
I've owned a few 5.0's on nitrous and still have one. With a few of the basic bolt ons they put out about 210rwhp, and then they usually make a little over 300rwhp and 400tq on a 150hp shot. They usually weight about 3200lbs.

u will lose. my stock aod mustang put down 185hp 254lb of torque on a dyno. now with blah, blah, blah boltons i've edged out 400hp m5, 330 vette, demolsh rice, and that is without nitrous. stock 185 + 150 335rw + 400lb+ torque u r toast!

First of all, you can't calculate horsepower on paper like homework. It's not logical - too many things to consider. Plus, most nitrous kits are not rated by rear-wheel horsepower, instead by Flywheel power. And with just "bolt-ons" on an AOD 5-0 you should have not been putting any kind of edge on an M5 nor 330-hp Corvette LT4. They must have been some very bad drivers.

With a 150 shot, a stock 5.0 should beat a stock LS1.
