383 stroker

Well me and my bud were cruisin around in his truck and we pull up beside this truck i have tried to race before, 383 stroker, mild cam, and 2.2 milled heads is all he says he has so we talk to him and asked if he wanted to run'em and he replied if you got 20 bucks and i said ill give ya 10 if you race my car and he said alright what is it and i told him a stock 02 camaro. Well he follows to walmart and i let my car warm up and i figured i would give him some money cuz thats always his excuse is never enough gas so i paid him and he said not from a dig cuz itll just blow up the tires..... So i asked for a 30 and he agreed, he is a single cab standard btw.. Right before we left he said that he has a cracked intake so it bogs a lil bit in high rpm, he still wanted to race. So i follow him to a stretch and i get beside him and get down to 30 and 1st gear slid in smoothley. I was honking and i didnt know if he was gonna go so on the third honk i let him hit it first and he did and i hit it next and by end of 1st he was at my rear bumper and i kept steadily pulling and by the time i let out at 100 he was about 2 bus lengths back. We pulled over and chit chatted and he said that he spun and also said once he quit spinning that he kinda started pulling, i was watching it but i didnt want to tell him no he didnt so he said he has big plans for it and said we should run'em again so i said sounds good just hit me up and we went our seperate ways. I think the truck needs some more goin through, kind of a sleepe look. Prolly a 5 tone paint scheme just different doors tail gate and stuff. Nasty interior always covered in mud. O well i guess we will run them again eventually.
