2010 stang gt....should I?
ight well there's this spoiled little bitch of kid that goes to my old high school, his parents bought him a 2010 gt for christmas lol anyway the kid has seen me pick up my bro from school a few times and told my bro to tell me that he's going to spank my Z in a couple weeks(kid can barely drive a stick so he wants to practice) I'm not quite sure what to expect from this tho. do I stand a chance? I would also like to put some money on it if i do
his is bone stock except for a hurst shifter. I put down 302/302 on the dyno-a4

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
This is a must.
Or he'll rev limit it.
Hilarious that he doesn't know how to drive a stick and got one. One of his everso knowledgeable buddies probably told him that sticks are way faster than manuals...
It will be even funnier when a 10yr old car beats him.

The only stock mustang, even with plenty of bolt ons, that you should ever lose to is the new 5.0 GT coming out in 2011 with 416hp. Run every GT that challenges you unless they have done ALOT of engine work, because you will crush them haha

B2300 (Fluffy) Retired- Plain-Jane Dodge Truck
LOL. Pretty much no Mustang can beat the mighty LS1 unless it is blown, sprayed, or has TONS of engine work! We all know this to be true because....
Lead....get the guy to the track, and I'd bet $100 you'll beat him very handily. A new driver will almost certainly be HORRIBLE shifting the car, and as he has zero track experience, launching on all that rubber will also hurt. On a 1/4 mile track, I bet he'll see mid-high 14s. In the meantime, your A4 will be pulling away without even breaking a sweat.
Good luck!

the kid doesn't know shit about his car or any other for that matter. he woke up Christmas morning when out to the front driveway and BAM brand new stang. there's nothing more i'd rather do than wipe the smug smile off some ignorant spoiled little rich kids face w/a 10 yr old car
dang where do yall get these awesome pics from?

no offense to op but there should be a sticky that says
ls1 vs any stock stang= ls1 with the victory
besides, termis and new 5.0
i feel like i read 5 different posts a week about people wanting to know if they'll beat a stock mustang that mommy and daddy bought someone in there school/neighborhood.

A newb with a manual wants to race ? Go for it . This is from "Motor Trend " with a pro driver & 315 "crank " HP .
Quote: In only 4.9 seconds, the Mustang GT is moving at a speed of 60 mph. Compared with last year's Bullitt, a car that donated its more potent powertrain and rear axle to the 2010 GT, that time represents a 0.1-second improvement, in other words, the quickest sprint Motor Trend has ever coaxed out of a stock Mustang GT. Less than nine ticks later, at 13.5 seconds, the GT eclipses the quarter mile at a speed of 104.2 mph, or 0.2 second quicker and 1.5 mph faster than the no-longer-so-bullet Bullitt. The landscape, ostensibly, is blurring out of focus. :end quote
