2010 challenger srt8 kill
noone may believe me but i have a stock 93 z28 with a little over 80,000 miles on it and i purchased it 4 days ago my uncle took me to get it from countryside IL in his 2010 srt8 challenger. on the way home he calls my cell and asked me if i wanted to see where my car stould, i said sure we came to a dead stop on 94 in the middle of the e way and punched it i started in 2nd and shifted on up my car is a a4. believe it or not i held him off up until about 110-115 and he walked pass. i'd say this car can hold it's own against the best..............., and did i say stock.

on occasion. good for a rush. usually when you pull some shit like starting in 2nd gear against a fast car, they get way out in front and you lose the race... what do i know. i just been racing cars for 10 years.

Come on Dick.....a low-mid 14 second car driven in a manner that would allow for a solid low 15 second pass would easily outrun a low 13 second car any day of the week!
Its physics I tell ya, pure physics!

If you put an A4 in '2' does it really start in 2nd, or start in 1st and only shift up to 2nd on its own? If you start in 'D' you are actually in '3' but the car still starts out in 1st.
This would make more sense. The LT1s aren't bad on the low end, and if this was actually an R/T you were racing, as you have clarified, then I can see it.
You manually shifted up to 'D' at some point to hit 110. You just bought the car, so you really weren't sure what you were doing, methinks.

yea makes way more sense that it was an r/t.
on the 2 thing: my ls1 starts off in 2nd if you put it in 2 but i think that started in '98 or '99... forgot that didn't apply in '93.
devil's in the details...
PS:
good kill!!!

When I first read this I thought...hmmmm wtf??? But being it turned out being just an R/T, now I can believe it....I guess.
I've run SRT-8 Challengers on the 1/8th here in my home town and we're really close, even with my mods.
