08 G37 Auto vs 01 Z28 M6
My bolt ons are in my sig, this is the same G37 i raced a little while back but this time different gears and different speeds and got it on vid. To be fair to the G37, im modded, he had one extra passenger and he is a auto. Him being a V6 and a bit heavier doesnt help any either. He has Stillen Intake and Fast Intentions Exhaust. Weve taken his car to get pricing on a dyno tune and the person who does it says his car as it sits should be about 285-290 RWHP but till he actually puts it on the dyno we wont know for sure. Its not a slow car by any means and ive driven it on several occasions and always think it feels faster then my car. This race was from 2nd gear to 3rd.

Thanks 4thGenTA. The interior and exterior of the G37 is really nice and without a doubt a better looking car.

Actually i ordered BBK LT's, ORY and im gonna get a re tune from Frost and be happy with it for a while. I had BBK LT's a while ago but i had to sell it. Now working at a dealer the install should be alot less.

I love the way it looks on the car. It needs something there for me so it doesnt look boring. Since my car was white and i was going with the black rims i figured doing the black stripes. Thanks for the comment, on black the red would look perfect.

Silver/Black- 00' z28-R.I.P 00' WS6 M6
high school kids are brash and tasteless. Most of them prefer stuff with huge spoilers the size of airplane wings and body kits that make cars look like vacuums on 4 wheels
imo it looks damn sexy. I just ordered some for my car after seeing them on yours. I've got the black rims like yours so i'm hoping the stripes compliment the look

LeadFarmer, did you order them in black or red. I think it will look good on your car as well. Once you put them on take a few pics and post them.

Black- 2000 WS6 6spd Hooker LT
Nice kill. G37s are nice, but they exterior doesn't make me go "gotta have one" like the WS6 does. Interior is nicer tho.
And yeah, you know how the LTs will wake up your car and make it louder.

g37 has one advantage in that it has a 7 speed auto. Not sure what year that g is but the more speeds = better. It's one reason the nissan GTR is as 'quick' as it is. Having more speeds can keep the rpms from dropping between gears and keeping it in its powerband. We all know our cars are just 5 speeds really.
I dont see any mods imo that would require a tune but I think you're picking up a bit with a K&N and obviously some with a cut out when open. That also looked like a super easy kill. You walked him very easy I'd say theres a 30+ hp difference or so thereLast edited by 5abivt; 01-22-2010 at 02:55 PM.
