08 bullitt vs 2000 SS

This kid at my church got his first car last year and his dad went out and bought him a an 08 bullitt with about 300 miles on it. and whenever he comes to church he'll rev it when he pulls in. and do a little burn out when he's leaving. so i decided to bring my car and see if he wanted to race. sure enough he did but he brought along his girlfriend for the ride. so we got on the road and going from about a 20 roll he punches it before me. no honks. nothing. so i hit it and just spin through first and some of second and by this time he's ahead of me but by the end of second my nose was at his door and when i hit third i left him like he wasn't moving. and as i was passing i just gave a nice little wave. but i went to about 110 and slowed down cause he was about 5 car lengths back and i was still pulling hard.just goes to show. even with hollywood on their side. ford still can't out do a chevy.
bullitt-stock as far as i know.
SS-LT's, 3in exhaust, CAI, SLP Pulley.

A friend of mine has a bullitt and it is a 14 second flat car at the track. Pretty sad 10 year old technology can still whoop up on a ford.

I had a bone stock silverado SS that ran 14 flat..ford needs to go to school or just give up all together. Good Kill

They just brought back the 5.0, a little late but it's a start. Nice kill. You should of drove his girl home.

yeah seriously its about time. When i saw that the new TAURUS is coming out with 365hp, more than any Gt has EVER had, my jaw hit the floor then i started laughing my ass off. Thank GOD they are making the mustang more powerful than the TAURUS hahaha

nice kill. i too find it hard to beleive that after the ls1 came on the sceen that ford has not made anything close to running with it(ls1) stock for stock besides the 03Cobra. i havent raced anything newer than a 06gt but from what i hear the 07+ aren't any better.

i'm pretty sure 06-09 were all the same. but 2010 and up are the same as the 2008 mustang bullitts i'm pretty sure.

They have the same power mods yes but the suspension is better on the bullitt and all bullitts had 3.73s, the best gt option is a 3.55.

I watched bullitt over this past weekend. And dirty harry, man i wanna live in SF in the late 60s early 70s. Before it was 80% gay
