02 a4 camaro ss vs. srt8 charger.. need your help!

Do you think a 02 a4 ss with lt's ory high flow cats, no muffler k&n filter,lid will beat a 07 charger srt8 with k&n filter and magnaflow exhaust? thanks for any input you can give me a guy wants to run me but i kinda want to know whats gonna happen in advance if you guys can help thanks!!! also would i be able to beat a ls2 gto with the same mods as the srt8 charger thanks again

That charger ain't that fast,to heavy its like pushing a sheet of plywood through the wind with that big,blocky,ugly a$$ front end. My 99 trans am went 12.79 with the mods you have and a converter.And the 02's have a better head and intake package.I have never seen a charger go even close to that at the track.
Dont be scared that thing ain't even a really HEMI.After you beat him ask him if he even knows what Hemi stands for (Highly Engineered Mechanical Ignorance) A standard by witch Chryler seems to live by.

Ive got almost the same mods as you and i beat one pretty bad last summer. I also beat a 300C SRT8 too. But the 300 was using autostick and smoked me from a 30 roll cuz he had it in second. I smoked both of them from a dig, you should be fine. especially if he doesnt know what hes doing.

Yeah you should have no probem i'v had two run ins with those things and beat them both times from a dig pretty bad and I only have A4 3.23,ls1 motor sports lid,slp lm1 exaust

race for 20 bucks beat him by a car, then go double or nothing and give him a car, then beat his ass again, go home with nearly a full tank or 3 cases of coors light,

This is some good advice you should have no problem with em you have more then I have done I was stock 98 ss was 6 speed but i blow by them like there not there. I took a trip from san jose to san diego and when I got there nothing but chargers and they where the hemi versions killed em no problem have fun and make sure to talk a lot of crap after.

we ran last night i beat beat by a car, u guys were right!!!!! i didnt spin much coming out the hole he did i think if he didnt spin it would have been closer but after he spun he was aining ground quick but not quick enough out the hole i had him by about 2 cars or 1 3/4 cars and he made that up in no time when u got traction he wanted to race again i said 4 $50 he said no 4 free i was spinning i told him i dont race for free to a car i have beaten. You should have seen his face when i said that

Nice kill was his car a stick or auto and put a converter on there and you'll kill em even worse

My 02 SS with (bolt ons) felt slower than our 3000C SRT8 (boltons) so I told my wife to run me. Well, I lost bad. It was close out of the hole but she just chased me right down. From a 40-50 roll, forget it, she put about 3 cars on me to 120 and pulling. I only did that once.

Im sure our 300 would turn a 12.6-12.8 @ 110-112. Im sure the SS is about 12.7-13.0 @ 107-109. I enjoy the 300 more though so I even put the SS for sale since I dont even drive it. Impulse buy while I was missing the Cobra.

yea...you guys are talking about the charger r/t..the srt one is a whole different ball game.traction gave you that win...with a good driver..you would have lost.

425-hp and 420tq 6.1 litter ..weighs 4160..so thats a .102 hp per pound. and .1009 for torque

maro 350-hp and 350 tq...weighs 3360..so .104 hp and tq per pound

and they run very similar times stock at the strip..so

on these people saying how slow the charger SRT8 is.

never said they were slow, simply said a stock camaro beats bolt on ones. you know how i know? ask me. they do trap good speeds at the strip but still havent seen on hit a 12 without some sort of power adder
