    00 z28 vs. 03 cobra vs. 97 gto vs. 97 gt ***VIDEOS***

Went out with my bud kbhughes87 friday night and got some good races on video! There has been some talk on one of the previous threads about 02sunsetorangeZ racing this terminator. When 02sunsetorangeZ raced him he was putting down 444 hp and 420 tq and the termi had 2 passengers with him and 02sunsetorangeZ didnt have any, 02sunsetorangeZ put a car and a half on him. The terminator got retuned and put down 446 hp and 467 tq and i raced him after that, i had 1 passenger and the termi didnt have any. The first video was me and the terminator going from 25 mph. The next video was a 04 gto we found on the highway, and the last video was the 97 mustang gt. Again my mods are ls6 cam, ls7 clutch, air lid, ls1 intake :/ long tubes with 3" TD's, dyno tune with previous owner so i dont know my numbers, pro 5.0, TB bypass. And i want to note that kbhughes87 yelling nos in the first video was just joking around lol

btw i just asked him his boost and he said 13 pounds is that just cuz of the pulley or what? I dont know too much on these cars but the sound of that blower sounds like it might b ported on how loud it is?

Pulley size is one factor for the amount of boost you make. Other factors are also involved though. Staying with the same exact set-up and going to a smaller pulley will result in an increased amount of boost.

I've never heard of a blower being ported, not to say it doesn't exist. I've just never heard of that before.

Blowers come in different sizes. The amount of boost and the RPM at which boost starts is controlled by the throttle, blower size and drive ratio, engine size, camshaft profile, and exhaust system. All of these factors determine the breathing capability of the blown engine. Boost should only be measured at wide open throttle at 6,000 RPM. If there is only part throttle, the blower cannot get enough air to overcome the demands of the engine. Only when the blower can get enough air will there be boost.
