basically he got our money orders, then didnt send it and disappeared right after it happened!

maybe we should see if ed will look into requiring 50 posts and/or 6 months on the board to post in sales like at tech. Then shut down post counting in aag to help require an actual contribution to the site to sell here. There are plenty of red names in here, maybe someone should propose it to him?

I had this happen through ebay... if its a postal money order .. you can have a trace put on it or tracker .. they can tell you if and when or where it was cashed... he had to have used his real name in order to cash it .. if you sent it for purchase of something it is federal mail fraud... because he never sent the merchandise.. it takes a lil while but the post office will be able to find out .. and then pursue it. Also you can take him to civil court if its worth the time .. the link wouldnt work for me so I dunno how much money you got jacked for

i check with ed bad z good idea. not sure he can block post count from certain areas though will see.

Regardless of what happens, always use paypal, they will get your money back for you.

sorry i havent been on in a while. thank you all soo much for your views and advice and i will look into the trace/tracker thing
