Inserting Images

I was not on the site for a while, and then had my account reset or something.

Now I am unable to insert pictures/images into posts or pms. The insert image brings up a window to put in a URL.

I cant find any other buttons or tabs that would enable me to attach a pic from my computer. Is this a settings issue on my end or something that can be fixed on the admin end.

I always use Photobucket. Never have been able to figure out how to upload a pic from my computer

I dont know if they changed the website or my user settings, but in the past I was able to attach pics. And in the FAQ's it tells you how to do it.... I just dont have that option anymore.

At the bottom of my page it says Posting Rules.

You can attach any pic from your hard drive into any post. There is a limit
of storage, so you may have to remove your older ones after you get to many uploaded. I attached this pic, from my drive! Use the click on the paper clip in the posting option area. You can add more then one and remove older ones from the same spot. I have had up to about at once from my hard drive.

Yeah, I dont have the Paperclip.
Everything I click on wants a URL

And in my User profile, under attachments it doesnt show any as being posted, so I shouldnt be outta room.

Try looking under your User CP... there has to be a setting that you need to change. How long have you been registered on the site? There is a waiting period on all the options, I think around 7-10 days?

He said he does not have to paper clip option... thought maybe he had it disabled in his User CP option's. I cannot find anyway to turn that option on or off.

In User CP, go to edit options. Then go to Miscellaneous Options at the bottom and under Message Editor Interface, Choose Standard Editor - Extra Formatting controls.

That should do it.

No. That is just a car I had in my pictures file.

I had two 69 Chevelle's. One 69 and one 69 1/2. My pride and joys.

I could kill myself for selling them now!

My son is a Ford guy

But, I love him dearly anyway

Atleast he likes American, he could love Hondas with big big tails and coffee cans... lol

Nice job finding that in the User CP... I hope that is it! I was looking thru everything, and nothing was standing out to me. I wonder what more I could do with the advanced setting?

Went into the User Options and it was already set to Standard.
I tried setting it to Simple, and then the other one. Tried logging in and out and still cant post pics.

Ive gone through all the options in the User CP and cant find any toggle switch to activate it.

Ill have have to PM a mod or admin to take a look at my account behind the scenes.

Nope. Mine were Midnight Metallic Blue and Gun Metal Gray Metallic. I have the 69 1/2 for over 13 years. It's a long and sad story, but ended up having to sell it and I've been crying over it for almost 9 years now.

Son is into Trucks, off road, dirt bikes and Harley's

He rocks
