Embed Images??? Help

Ok, I give Up! How do you Embed images into a thread. I've tried the img code but no luck. Images are on my PC. Do I need to x-fer to image hosting site? What's the secret that eludes me. Probably something really stupid and when I realize what I'm missing I'll need a

I've almost maxed out my allowed space for attachments.

If you use the image or thumb code, the pictures have to be hosted on a server. They cannot be on your PC.

Easiest way is to attach them to the post.

You can go to your userCP and under attachments, clean the old ones out.

That's what I thought, but wasn't sure.

Any suggestions on a good Image hosting site that? Preferably free
