Verts need special headers???
I'm in the middle of picking out an exhaust setup for my 02 trans am convertible... Somebody told me yesterday that they had a hell of a time finding a company that made headers to fit their vert. I had never heard of needing different special headers to fit a vert before. Do any of you have any insight on this? I know plenty of vert guys run LT's on this site! Thanks in advance!

Nope, no special headers here. Just a plain ole set of Mac mids w/ORY.

Cool... It was always my understanding that headers for any 02 ls1 fbody would fit any 02 ls1 fbody. I've never seen anything like "**will not fit convertibles"

About the only things I know are different are the subframe connectors, and lowering springs. Good luck with your car.

You have to remove the special crossbrace that verts got to put headers on a vert. Other than that, any old headers will fit a vert.
