third gen convertible top
any one know a website where i can get a replacement top for a 90 camaro iroc convertible, its a ragtop not leather i fixiig it up as a cruiser and i need the top any help would help

$1000 kinda high but they did a real good job

so does this car its not torn or anything but this car is being built up i guess restored u could say, and it wuold look retarded with fresh wheels paint and engine and an old raggedy top

Tops arent that cheap. They wanted about 1500 to do my third gen when I had it too. If you can sew you might be able to make your own. Fabric isnt that expensive.

I think (if you diy it) the fabric used is/was wheather proof canvas.. But imho vynil, or leather is the way to go. If you do deside to go with a DIY top, carefully destitch the old top and then you'll have the paterns by which to cut/sew your new fabric. I did a 64 Austin Healey Sprite's seats before. @ the time the paterns could only be gotten from England, Ihad to hand sew them with piping and all big PITA but it worked out fantastic.. Just take your sweet time and go for it..
