    Removing the spare tire

Any of you ever tried to actually remove the spare tire from the trunk? On the convertible, it is nearly impossible to get the spare out. I honestly don't think a women could do it. I really had to wrestle with it and it will only come out and go back in one way, and even then you have to force it.

Yep ! And once you get it out you can forget about puttin it back in .
Just buy a can of FLAT-FIX & carry it around with you .

Yeah, getting that spare out is a real bitch. Gettin back in is no picknick either. Do what I did, befriend a few tow truck drivers. Then, when you get a flat, have one of them pick you up and take ya to the tire shop.

I had a 3rd gen convertible and I tried once to get it out. Even without air it didn't want to come out.

Like I said , take that heavy piece of crap out for good. Then go to wally-world and get you a large can of FLAT-FIX and a PLUG installation tool & a small box of tire plugs . Problem solved ~ extra room in your trunk ~ lighter weight=quicker E.T. & higher top speed not to mention better gas mileage !
