    Q's On my girlfriends convertible

My g/f said her rear seat buckets (bottoms) tilt all the way forward and up and only attach at the front? Is there something missing on her seat buckets or is this like that from the factory and why? My firebird isn't that way so yeah. Didn't know if it was a convertible thing.

my vert's rear seats don't move, but my ttop-ed T/A's are only attached at the front. I got it that way, and just assumed some stitchin' under there had ripped

Mine are attached only at the front, camaro vert here. I think they are just really simply, cheaply made seats for the back

no vert and they only attach at the front. Which made it oh so much easier to run the electric cutout wire..

Vert here and mine do the same thing. Actually the rear drivers side is always tilted forward. The kids have to sit in the back to get it to go down. Very annoying and cheap looking. It's one of those things that people always notice immediately when checking out my ride.

Hmm, just off the top of my head would some industrial strength velcro on the back edge of the seat work? That way it's still removable, but holds down when needed.

Mine are only attached in the front as well. Never rode in the back but they sure seem to be crappy seats.

Install a WIND STOP & that will cover the entire back seat area so no one can see the rear seat area . Dual purpose , allows security for items placed back there , items won't blow out when going fast , can hear stereo much better when the wind jammer is raised , girls won't complain about fancy hairdo gettin messed up , warmer in winter with top down , and just looks cool .

What does the Wind Stop attach to, and does the plastic Tonuea cover have to be installed to use the Wind Stop cover.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread but I fixed this issue on my vert.
Just remove the 1 bolt holding the rear seat in place. There is a metal wire loop that the bolt goes through and goes back up into the foam padding in the bottom of the seat.
I just took some pliers and my vise and bent the wire loop towards the back of the seat a little bit so it will force the back of the seat down more.
Be careful and only put pressure on the wire with a couple sets of pliers working against each other, don't use the seat for leverage or you may rip the wire out of the foam. Then when bolting the seat back in, I sat in the seat to make sure it was pushed down all the way while I tightened the bolt back up.
Just bend a little at a time and test fit it. Looks perfect now.

Exactly, mine hooks in the back and bolts on the front.
