pewter convertible question!!

tryin to see if anyone has pics of pewter convertibles with stripes on them. also any pewter camaro verts with the billet grilles.... thanks fellas!! im tryin to get appearance ideas for my vert

I've seen many pewter Camaros with chrome grilles and it looks pretty good. You might want to ditch those Firebird wheels though. The chrome grille might clash with the silver painted wheels.

I would actually upgrade the wheels first though. The wheels are the number one appearance enhancement you can do to your car, and its easier to coordinate other enhancements to the wheels than vice-versa.

I agree.. I think pewter either falls as my 2nd or 3rd color choice on an f-body. If I had a pewter vert with a black top.. I'd have C5 Vette wheels with black powder coat and a machined face; SS hood with a gloss black manta stripe, CME, SS spoiler.. and black painted calipers with drilled/slotted rotors and brushed aluminum camaro decals. I'd add a black poweder coated billlet grille and some hockey stripes with old school 69 z-28 decals and a gloss black berger panel.

Below is my previous vert before it died prematurely. A lot of the ideas Corvettekid mentioned I had done or was planning to do. The vert was my guinea pig for my current Camaro, I learned what did and didn't work and applied it to my currrent Camaro. I love the idea of the manta stripe and the hockey stripes, but the both of them together might be overkill.

I miss that car, but the Camaro I have now is better and more enjoyable for me.
