white- 1979 Trans Am
WTS/WTT 79 Trans Am built 403
I got the LS1 bug again and need to move my musclecar or partially trade it for a 98 or newer TA or Z28/SS. I have a very nice white 79 Trans Am with a built 403 in it. It has a Edelbrock cam and intake, bored 30 over and 10-1 forged pistons, Hooker headers and Accel ignition w/ coil built in. It is an AC car but it doesnt work, I think it needs a recharge. It is a hardtop and has either 2.42 or 2.73 gears in the rear with positraction(you can get a whole rearend for these for $150). The interior is complete, the headliner is out, needs to be put back up. The seats are complete, no tears, carpet is very good as well. Floorboards are perfect as is trunk, no rust whatsoever. The underside of the car still has the original undercoating on it, only the exhaust system is rusted. Body is great, needs sanding and paint, front right quarter has 2 small quarter size rust spots that have gone through. Rest of car is rust free, door openings have no rust. This car just needs the 2 small rust spots repaired and then sand and shoot it. Speedometer doesnt work, tac. does. No radio and heater controls don't work. I was told the heater and AC do work but the wiring was not re-hooked up after previous owner took radio out. . I put in new KYB shocks, new brakes, I have new front performace coil springs. I bought the front wheel spoilers and center spoiler. I put a newer Edelbrock 600 4 barrel on it, new plugs, and bought New BFG Radial T/As (235 front, 295 rear) and Crager SS chrome rims (original 70s). I'd like 4500 for everything, this car is a great project car, nothing mechanical needs to be done, just little stuff.
Call me as Im away from this site a lot. 860-978-7214. The car runs great and starts every time. pictures here

white- 1979 Trans Am
better deal
I'll sell the car w/ new BFG TAs (225s/295s rear) and snowflakes for 3500? Is that fair? It has perfect floors and trunk and needs no mechanical work at all! I'm tempted to part it out to recoupe my money as I will NEVER have time to redo this car (sand/paint, little things)
