Whats the goin price on 99 Z28?

I've been looking to get rid of my FireBird and buy a cheap Z car but it seems ppl are just askin too much. KBB says a 99 Z28 that's bone stock and avg miles books for $7000 but everyone I see is askin $9000. Whats the deal? Anyone selling a cheap Z28 for book? I dont care about color or anything long as it's below 100K miles and has a 6spd.

the reason is you are looking for a 6spd. You could easily find an auto for 7000 but a 6spd for that price is rare. Manuals hold so much more value. Check this sites for sale section.
