I may just have to sell the car. It's my pride and joy, but the bills are piling up and I have to do something before I go too far under... it doesn't cost me anything but about $40/mo. insurance to keep it on the road but such luxuries cannot be afforded right now...

Car was put together as a street/handling car that could also hold its own at the drag-strip if needed. I wanted to go Auto-X/RR'ing but never got to it but also didn't want to stop drag racing ... never got to that in this car either...

A quick rundown of the mod list will easily put the build cost well over $13K in parts alone should someone want to duplicate this car (can be supplied to a serious buyer) + the price of the car. Body has around 115K on it but the engine has probably 3-4K miles on it since it was built. Less on the suspension, exhaust and wheels. Car was an auto, but has been converted to M6.

Details...from what I can remember without having to go over the car with a fine tooth comb...

Put down 403wrhp on a Mustang Dyno before the FAST90mm and MS3 (previous cam was too big and wanted to be revved to the moon and we didn't want to rev it past 6500 even though it looked like an intake was all it needed to keep going; was an LS2 intake at that time), haven't re-dynoed yet but has a very good safe street tune for now...

Issues/negatives: (all these were present when I bought the car last year)

Driver side seat has a slight tear in it from years of use
Original radio volume control is flaky; I use the steering wheel controls
pass. quarter panel has been repainted (previous owner) due to a previous fender bender probably.
Dash has a slight crack near the radio/ac trim ring (maybe trying to pry it off)

Driver side head-gasket has a slight leak; leaks only to outside and only when really hot, none internal. I've been meaning to get to fixing it (get the heads sent out and checked for warping/machined/etc. but since it's not that bad and I rarely drive the car, I've left it alone for now. I can fix it before sale if there is someone interested 'cos it'll give me a reason to start the job.
Valvetrain has a slight ticking at top end of RPM range due to the pushrods not being long enough (currently 7.400's but 7.425's will do the trick) ... this will be addressed with the head gasket issue (but I have to wait until the heads get milled first to calculate the right length, it may not even need them depending on the cut.

Asking $12.5K but willing to negotiate within reason (car is on CL for 13K)... if you don't think it's worth that much, pls. PM and I'll be more than thankful, rather than ruining the thread... thanks

thanks man ... I've not seriously looked into trades but I wouldn't mind an offroader or a bike + cash. The +cash it the most important part 'cos if I do sell, I'd like to reduce my debt. My debt to income ratio is whack! lol
