    Red 98 Camaro SS

Checking to see if there is any interest. Now asking for $15000.

Red 98 Camaro SS with the following MAJOR mods:

    Forged 383 with:

    -Arias forged pistons
    -Eagle forged crank
    -Eagle H-beam rods
    -AFR 205 heads (64cc)
    -Comp 224 on a 114 LSA
-Fast 90 with TPIS 90mm TB
-TTS Long Tube headers w/ catted y-pipe
    -GMMG catback
-Textralia OZ700 clutch (z-grip) with steel billet flywheel

    Custom PNEUMATIC nitrous kit with:

-10 lb bottle mounted in spare tire area
    -remote opener
    -heater
    -MSD window switch

Car currently has just over 46000 miles on it, around 7000 miles on the motor. Motor was built with nitrous in mind however it has only been sprayed 3 times since the rebuild, all on the dyno. Motor was built by Kushan of Excelsior Motorsports in San Diego, CA. Never been to the track.

Paint is in excellent condition, Zaino used since I bought it in 2002. I am confident in saying that the car is in better shape than most 2002 models you'll find.

    N/A #s: 406 rwhp, 417 rwtq
    N2O #s: 579 rwhp, 654 rwtq

The N/A numbers are a little on the low side due to this being a nitrous motor and the smallish cam. However it is a fun street car.

Once again, just the major modifications have been listed above. Obviously, there are other modifications that have been left out. Some pictures below. I have a few more if interested.

Car is in the Phoenix area.

I saw that pneumatic system he developed, nice item. You don't have to worry about one 'noid not opening. Either they both open or not, you don't have to worry about 'noid failure leading to engine damage. Did Kushan do the tune ?

    Yes, Kushan did the tune.

I am sure he would be willing to vouch for this car as he knows it pretty well.

It is a small CO2 bottle.

As you already know, on traditional nitrous systems you would have two solenoids that would be energized to admit nitrous and fuel, assuming it's a wet kit. In my pneumatic set-up one piston assembly takes the place of the solenoids. The piston would be actuated by ~ 150 psig of CO2 pressure, which in turn opens both the nitrous and fuel plungers because they are connected to the piston via a common T-bar shaft.

What I like about this system is that you don't have to worry about a fuel solenoid sticking shut and the nitrous solenoid going open which would result in a lean condition and possible engine damage. With this system either both plungers open or both plugers remain shut.

One less thing to worry about.
