Looking To Buy A Trans Am in OK
I'm in the market for a trans am, or formula, in Oklahoma. I would prefer an 01 02 auto car, but I'm interested in any 98-02 powered firebird.
just pm me, or email getzen_guy@yahoo.com

Check out Craigslist Oklahoma City. There's a super nice one on there with low miles. It's silver. The only reason I haven't already bought it is because it's an auto. I think it has 46k miles.

I have one that I am sure you would love but it is in NJ. The car is amazing and well within your price range. Its a 98 ws6 6 speed black with a LS6 in it. The motor only has 36k miles and put out 385RWHP. Very dependable car. Fly out and cruise home. Give me a call if you are interested. Thanks

Yeah, that silver one is the one. My opinion, don't get a mustang. You will be disappointed. They are nice cars but they don't have near the speed that the LS1 has. I just traded off my 06 GT this summer. If you look around there's a million GT's in that body style for sale now. People are disappointed with the power. I put a cold air intake, borla exhaust, and predator tuner on mine and still thought it was slow. IMHO of course.

I feel ya on that. Try finding one if you're only looking for a 6-spd. It's even harder.

Black 2002 Formula M6- SOLD on 11/21/2009
I'm in NY but could look into shipping or you could fly out and drive her home...2002 Formula, 6-speed, black exterior with ebony interior ( rear seats never sat in ) non smoker, 2 adult owners...bad ass formula but never raced or abused and modifications were done right and a 90 year old lady who knows how to drive stick could drive it as it is extremely drivable...
Here's a video ( go to youtube to watch it and you can read what it has in my description of it to right of video ) when I first got her from original owner...had 33k miles on her...just turned 35,5k as I rarely take her out....
PM me if any interest.

Thanks for all of the replies everyone, but I think I'm going to try to keep my sale within OK, maybe northern texas or as far as dallas, but i'd like driving distance.

Did you ever find one? Ironically, I'm picking mine up at Bob Moore next weekend.

That's the one! Did you check out the exhaust? Do you know if it has cats? How was the clutch?

It was about a month and a half ago when they first got it in, at the time they were asking 14.5. I don't recall the exhaust setup, but it was in very nice condition, and drove very well.
have you by chance looked at this one?
I'm maybe thinking of it.

No, I haven't seen that one before. I'm buying the white one for $11.5k. Already put a deposit down. They really wanna sell it, which makes me nervous. I was a little surprised that I was able to talk them down that much. Checked the carfax and it's only a 2 owner car. I haven't seen the car yet, but I'm expecting the worst since they're so eager to sell it, but if it's like you and the salesman say I should be happy. If you're interested, I know a guy who WAS trying to sell a car. I'm not sure if he still has it or not though. I'd have to check. It's a 2000 WS6 NHRA edition blk/blk T/A. It has 97k miles, 6-spd, it's loaded and bone stock. He lives south of me in San Angelo. It would be about a 350 mile drive for you, but you might be able to meet him somewhere closer. It drove really nice, I just didn't want one with quite so many miles. It's in excellent condition EXCEPT the front could use a bra (got quite a few chips) and one of the headlight motors is PROBABLY going out. Let me know if you're interested and I'll try to dig out his phone #.
