I just recently posted a question asking about hardtop WS6's and was told they didn't exist. Is this a factory WS6 or a conversion?

Factory it does exist. (Note: this is a Formula and not a T.A.)

I'm somewhat unfamiliar with Firebirds. So to clarify...they made hardtop FORMULA WS6's but not hardtop T/A WS6's? weird!

The costs varies depending on type of clutch, whether or not you do it yourself or hire it out. The best bet would be to call around shops local to you and ask them. The ABS inop and TCS off lights on the dash happened when a wire behind the front passenger tire got severed. I reconnected the wire but the dash lights are still on.

How bad is the clutch slipping?? Driveable?? Does it allow a strong launch and still allow the gears to get shift smoothly?? Or does it slip so bad it overheats on a hard launch?
I am not personally interested, but I am trying to help a friend interested. He has actually posted in this thread and he asked me to take a look.
Which wires got 'severed' exactly?? Sounds like wheel speed sensors to me. How did you reconnect them??
Clutch....at least a slave cylinder and anywhere from $400 to $1000 for the clutch doodad.2008 Trailblazer SS

Yes the wheel speed sensors, if I remember it is a green and white twisted wire. I attempted to resplice the two back together after taking the front wheel off, but it had no effect.
I figured 800-1000 for the clutch repair, that's why I am selling so low. The car can drive under normal speeds city or highway without slipping, but any hard launching or high accelaration attempt will send the RPMs up without much acceleration. The gears shift fine normally through all gears unless you try to get on it.

yes it needs to be replaced. That's why I took a 3400.00 loss on my selling price from the purchase price a year ago. Paint is fine, I'll update with more pictures when I get them. Right now I am at work and the car is in the garage at home.

Thanks for the info.
Looks like a good deal. I was asking for doodad if you hadn't figured that out. He asked me to take a look.
Hopefully he can work something out with you soon.
