Everyday Car ?

Thinking of buying a new Cobalt SS for a everyday car. has any one heard much about about these like problems or anything. i test drive one when they 1st came out i thought it was pretty cool for what they are. supercharged 4 banger. handled the corners pretty good too. what do u guys think?

It's nice to hear someone wants to buy an American nameplate these days. Good for you! Nice performance reviews in the car magazines but I forgot what the MPG numbers were. I would jump all over it for a daily driver as long as the MPG was at least 25. Otherwise why bother? What is it supposed to get?

i was just checking out a silver one tonight at my dealership. the supercharged one get 23 city and 29 highway which isnt to bad. it was a pretty fun test driver. the car was comfortable for me but the clutch is so soft compared to my centerforce on my z28. the only one thing i didnt like was it did have a arm rest to put my arm on when i shift. other then that is was pretty nice. they got me pretty interested trade my 93 mazda mx-6 for it.

if you aren't a die hard GM guy and open-minded and you're looking for a quick little 4banger turbo to use as a DD check out a Dodge Neon SRT4. I know it's a freaking NEON but it's fun to drive (22/30 sticker mpg). I'm shopping around for an LSx vehicle to mod and race with but I drive an SRT4 as a DD with some mods.

Go for it, those seem to be pretty cool. I see you are 20 years old, now if you were like 40 that car would not fit you.
