Black 1999 Trans Am (for something better)
Almost 150,000 miles, clean title
Location: SoCal
Not original owner, not sure on mods, but stereo system probably has been upgraded and WS6-style hood and Ram Air unit were added
Engine and automatic transmission shouldn’t be failing anytime soon, car runs well and hasn't even stalled once (albeit not owned long)
New tires, brakes almost new, suspension recently restored to good shape
Needs some welding, spark plugs, few other things
Interior has leather seats and a few flaws
Could use a new side panel (dents are there but painted over), etc.
Has a little bubbling on roof, T-tops
(I could get some pics, but I'm not in a rush and the flaws would only show in close-ups.)
Have an inspection report and recent receipts
Looking mainly for a true WS6, 2001 or 2002, automatic, clean title, with less than 120,000 miles and a factory color that is neither black nor white, ideally blue metallic. Don't want a convertible. Don't want a WS6 that needs more than a few thousand dollars in repairs. The lengthy list of imperfections on the current car, which unlike many of you I'm not qualified to repair myself, is spurring me to trade.
A man can dream and be accordingly flexible (color, high mileage, rebuilt, lots of problems, whatever):
Corvette, 99 or later
High-end Mustang, 2003 or more recent
2002 anniversary edition Camaro
2002 anniversary edition Firebird
Will trade either way, but only up by a few thousandLast edited by clovenhooves; 07-10-2009 at 08:08 PM.

Nothing? I was trying to gauge interest. Better title, more information, or just no interest among locals? I still want to trade it, but if anyone is interested, there could be a long delay due to getting documents from the inept bureaucracy.

I still have it, looks a little different and been fixed up more. (Including spark plugs replaced and panel fixed.)
In honor of the beast, lol, $66600. I'm not that flexible on the price. I have no need to sell. The car is running fine and meets my needs.
Show interest, and I'll scan in and upload a few more pics.
Edit: at this point, I'm more likely to sell than do a trade.Last edited by clovenhooves; 05-20-2010 at 12:53 PM.

Yeah, I was thinking about the post and wondering if there was an extra digit.
$6660.
I might make a different thread later with a more accurate title.
