98 ws6 6 speed
119000 miles borla exaust 02 wheels centerforce clutch,tranny wont go in to 5th gear REBUILT TITLE i bought this car from the guy that fixed it at 45000 miles and havent had any troubles 26 mpg on highway $6500

wouldn't it not going into 5th be a prob. but tell me whats wrong with the tranny and i might concider it. i'm looking for a ws6 and yours looks good.

your 5th gear problems
i had the same problem w/ my 98 z28 and so i had to rebuild the tranny. It wont go into fifth gear because either the shifter fork is broken or because the synchro assy. is damaged. Mine was because of the latter...the synchro spring had busted and the keys went flying off into the tranny to be ground up into small shiny little particles...nice looking car and good luck w/ the sell.
