'98 Formula, 51k miles, BONE STOCK, Chameleon
Here are the details:
1998 Formula A4, 51,000 Original Miles
This car is 1 of only 130 Formula's built in the Chameleon color in 1998. I bought it about 6 months ago from the original owner in Cincinnati. It has nearly every option, including the 3.23 gears. T-Tops, Grey Leather w/power driver seat, Monsoon CD, PW, PL, PM, Tilt, Cruise, Rear Defrost, Power Antenna, etc.
It was COMPLETELY STOCK and NEVER MODIFIED when I bought it. The only thing I've done to it is added an airlid and K&N filter. Out of curiosity, I did dyno it right after I bought it, and it pulled 310rwhp through full factory exhaust. Which is really good for an A4 car.
In the area of looks, I tinted the windows all the way around (including the windshield). Added polished stainless "Formula" emblems to the doors (shown in the pics), and chrome bird and "Formula" emblems to the front and rear bumpers (not shown in the pics). At the same time, I put on a set of Convo-Pro wheels, but have since sold them. I'm selling the car with the original wheels and tires. (It came with the silver "twisties", but I don't have any pictures of the car with them)
What it needs:
Driver Side Power Window Motor - I will replace it if a purchase agreement is made.
The windshield is cracked. It's not in the driver's view and hasn't gotten any bigger since I bought the car. I won't cover this cost, but the estimate I got to replace it was $187.
Two tires are the Goodyear GSC's and are in great shape. The other two are probably 1/4 tread.
Price, etc.:
This is a GREAT car!! It has NEVER been abused and drives better than most cars with only 20k miles. It's getting almost impossible to find an unmolested LS1 F-Body. Especially one this rare and well taken care of. The interior and exterior are both in EXCELLENT condition. The engine runs perfect (even though it still has factory plugs and wires), and the transmission shifts like new (it easily breaks the tires loose on the 1-2 shift). This car doesn't squeak, rattle, or have any road wind noise. The T-Tops fit tight and NEVER leak.
$8999 buys it. (I'm very firm on the price because I actually owe more than that on it) So why did I price it so low? For personal reasons it needs to go asap, and I don't want to haggle over price. Loan value should be more than this, even on a car with twice the mileage.
Please email me DIRECT if interested: HTHorsepower@aol.com
Thanks!!!
