    2001 Camaro SS water damage

I got stuck in a rather large puddle last Saturday. The engine is Hydro-locked and the starter is fried. That's it, but the insurance company totaled it. I'd rather try to sell it as a whole vehicle rather than parting it out.

The stock rear was just rebuilt less than 500 miles ago. The rims are chrome C5 rims. They'll clean up nicely. It's got 69,000 miles on the odometer. It's a 6 speed manual which shifts perfectly with a B&M ripper shifter. SLP air lid. I may be keeping the exhaust. The body and interior are in excellent condition.

I'm located in South Jersey, about 15 mins from Philly. If anyone would be interested in this car let me know ASAP otherwise it'll go to the salvage yard probably early next week. It will have a salvage title. Looking to get around 8k but will consider any reasonable offers.

Well, 8 may be high but 2 is less than insurance was going to give me for salvage. Is $5k resonable?

How did you manage to keep the water out of the interior?

The water wasn't too deep, it was only about halfway up my rims. I guess the way I hit the puddle it got sucked into the engine. The car should be back tomorrow, I'll take pics of the interior.
