2000 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe. Dark bowling green metallic, light oak interior. Car has 73k miles and mods were done at the 55k mark.
Mods include:
Halltech Stinger air intake (only mod that was self installed)
All other mods were installed and tuned by MTI in Houston, TX:
LS6 intake manifold
Underdrive pulley
G1 cam
Kooks L/T headers
High flow cats

Car put down 381 RWHP and 363 RWTQ. Good power band, dyno sheet will be posted soon. Paid 4500 for the engine mods alone. Oil always changed with Mobil1 synthetic.

Custom stereo:

The car has been extensively dynamatted, much quieter than a stock Vette.

Headunit is a Pioneer premier P1R. This head eliminates the need for external crossovers and EQs because it is all built into this unit. This head is preamp only, no powered outputs (the way a good head should be).

The two amps running the system are the older Orion Xtreme series. Great amps with incredible dynamic range. The 400.4 4 channel runs the tweeters in stereo @ 50x2 and the Sub mono @ 200x1. The mids are run off an 800.2 2 channel running 200x2. Plenty of power the way it should be.

Mids are Memphis muli-sync 8" components (yes, you read that right, 8" mids) with the 1 " tweeter. In custom fiberglass enclosures in the door behind the door panel. Doors look completely stock. The sub in the vehicle now is an Orion XTR 12", this is the only component that lacks in the system, it plays well but is old and lacks the clarity I desire.

Full custom amp rack in the back complete with the targa holder to keep the removeable top locked. Covered in vinyl it originally housed 2 Eclipse amps but those did not impress me. Just a trim ring is needed to flush out the 'new' amps in the rack. Also are 2 stiffening capacitors in the rack.

You have to hear this system to believe it. Only 5 speakers but it impresses everyone who has heard it. I have driven the car with the top off and windows down at 70 MPH and the system drowns out the wind noise, no kidding.

I love the car, just ready for a house and realizing that all I wanna do is make it faster. Can't save for a house that way. Lets work something out, car is ready to RUN!!!
