1999 Firebird TransAM !!!Cheap!!!
Its NBM, with grey interior, Ls1, A4, TTOPS, monsoon, all power (inc seat), NO T/C, car is bone stock other than a BM shift kit and chrome 16" wheels from a 2000 firebird.
Body and engine have 177k, tranny was rebuilt last year (less than 4,000 miles ago). The car starts, idels, runs, shifts, drives perfect 10/10. It has a small oil leak (looks like from the oil pan gasket, or rear main seal... loses maybe 1/2 quart every 2000 miles). This has been my DD for the last 10 years, and it has been strictly maintained: (93 octane only, Mobile1 every 3000, just passed state emmissions and safety inspection)
The car has never needed any major work. I replaced tie rod ends, front wheel bearings/hub, all for pads and rotors, and installed bosch platinum +4 plugs last summer.
The interior is in nice condition 7/10. The only flaws are a 2" crack in each door panel, and a 1" tear on the driver's seat (at the stiching)
The body is also in nice shape. There is a crack in the drivers fender (about 4", that can only be seen up close; 6" scrape on drivers lower rocker; and the driver's door was replaced (All damage was from a side swipe parking lot accident, it is CarFax clean and has never been in a collision) All in all the body is respectable with a nice coat of wax, there is no rust, dents, but there is a decent amount of stone chips on the front bumper and hood. I give it a 5/10 overall.
I'm asking $5700, and will consider a lower offer[realistic please, my asking price is less than KBB private party for fair condition, and I've never seen an LS1 car sell for less than $8k. I tried to be critical/honest in my description, but this really is a nice car]. I just bought a newer Trans Am, and can't afford to insure both, nor have the garage space. I hate to sell this car, and am looking for a good home for it.
I WILL ALSO CONSIDER TRADES... ESPECIALLY BIKES
Please respond here with any questions, or call me (Evan) @ 401-714-7881. The car is located in Providence, RI 02904... and is available to look at/drive.
I will post pictures as soon as I can

^ he got one hell of a deal then. I'm always on craigs list and always stop by dealerships when I see a Z or TA. I've seen just the drivetrains with similar mileage sell for $5k.
I just did a country wide search for 99 trans ams on autotrader.com to make sure my price is fair. The cheapest listing in the country is $7500, and there are only 9 under $8000 (with mileage ranging up to 150k)
