1999 Black Trans Am - $7,200 NJ
I've been a long time fan of this website, and I had an account since before things went crazy back in 2005 or so. I've learned so much, and saved a good amount of cash by learning to fix things myself here.
But now I need to sell my baby since I rarely drive it, and hate seeing it just sit around. I just put it up on auto trader so if it's ok, i'll post the link to the full ad here. Please feel free to email me any questions. There hasn't been much mechanical work done to it. I am the original owner of this car and have a lot of paper work to show for the amount of care I put into it. Only serious inquires please. The car is at my fathers house in Cherry Hill NJ, as I am not in the area anymore. Non-smoker, no accidents, no accidents, kept very clean inside and out. I'll throw up some stats here:
$7,200 OBO
Title = clear
No Trades
-----> Full listing here
Mileage 122,000
VIN - 2g2fv22g6x2210858
UPGRADED LIST:
Code alarm remote start with alarm system
whisper air lid/ K&N air filter
Flowmaster muffler
Exhaust cut out
17" AT Italia wheels (275 / 40R17)
Carbon fiber look air induction lid
Kenwood MP3/CD/radio
Sirius Satellite Antenna/reciever (Just need to subscribe to activate)
Painted calipers
Blue wire loom in engine bay
Grey Decal covers for rear/side lettering
K&N air filter
Powerslot brake rotors
PIAA 510 series fog lights
Tinted rear window
All shocks and struts all replaced - about year old!
New battery
ISSUES:
The Oil sender needs to be replaced (About $50 for the part). The oil gauge bounces while idle, but it's just cosmetic. Oil pressure is fine.
Due to a manufacturing issue with the doors, each door has a 1 inch (or so) crack in them at the top of the inside panels. This was due to the door clips that mount the panel to the metal door being too tight, causing pressure on the panel. Every time the window comes down, the panel bulges out, and puts pressure on the panel. Not much I could do about that, but it was a fairly common issue for that year.
The drivers side seat has a tear on the bottom outside.Last edited by my99TAbeast; 06-18-2008 at 05:01 AM.

Thanks for the offer, but no trades. I'll update my post to reflect that.

Just bumping up this thread. I've had no one come out and look at it yet. I'm guessing there's not much interest in these cars anymore? I've had many car dealerships calling me up, saying that if I let them sell it for me, they can offer a warranty and full financing. I wonder if this is the way to go now?
I am also willing to trade for a 4x4 truck now !!!Last edited by my99TAbeast; 07-29-2008 at 06:36 AM.

I'd edit the original post but it's not available now. The link that points to the auto trader ad has expired. I now need to have a second vehicle to drive, so now I am willing to only trade for a newer 4x4 truck. I can't sell it now. I'm also not really willing to drive too far to trade, sorry guys.
Anyone willing to trade or work out a deal for a truck? I'm located in Southern New Jersey.Last edited by my99TAbeast; 08-18-2008 at 07:35 AM.
