1978 Chevrolet Corvette- 8,500 miles!

Ok, my parents want to sell their silver anniversary corvette as they never drive it anymore and it just sits all summer anymore. So here is a little back story on the car, my mom found this car for my dad’s 50th birthday in October of 2000 and was kept in a neighbor’s garage for four months until dad’s birthday in February. Before being purchased by our family it sat in a collectors heated garage since new and had 3,400 miles at the time of purchase. Car has a few scatches as to be expected from an all original car.
All right now for the car it is a 25th silver anniversary Corvette
• Silver on graphite anniversary paint
• L48/4-speed manual
• Oyster leather interior
• 8,500 original miles
• $20,000
We have most of the original documentation on the vehicle along with a polyester Corvette jogging suit, 25th anniversary duffle bag full of 8-track tapes and a an 8-track recorder (for what it’s worth) that all comes with the car. Thanks, I love the looks of this car and really wish they would just give it to me haha. And no we had to get some new tires on it but we have the originals still, they have a little dry rot around the rim from sitting in the first owners garage for 22 years haha, when we got it it had the original washer fluid in it as well haha

Well my parents traded off the vette for an 06 jeep wrangler with 19,000mile on it strait up from a dealer. they wanted a jeep to pull behind their motorhome. Sad to see the vette go none the less.

Nice car, too bad it had the L48 instead of the L82..I had a 1975 Conv. L48/4sp car and man that thing was a dog...i think it was factory rated it somthing like 165bhp...although i dont think the L82 was that much better

yeah l-48 was 185hp and the l-82 was 220hp, but l-82's only came in autos i believe, but yeah they are pretty slow, i think the jeep they traded for might be faster haha
