    1969 Camaro

    1969 Chevy Camaro Super Gas/Super Comp/Super Pro/Quick 16 or Quick 32

    Description: 69 Camaro steel roof and quarters, glass front end, doors, decklid, and bumpers. Full round tube Alston Chassis, built in early 90's, just updated with new coilovers and back brakes less than 50 passes ago. Front brakes have 0 passes. New BBC, Converter and Glide has 2 VERY easy passes on them. Car is certified (new cert Arp09)to go 8.50 @ 170mph. As of 06 will have to add some more bars to make a 7.50 car again (up until 06 it was always a 7.50 car), has a Funny Car Cage. Car should run 8.80's @ low 150's. Money winning car. Car is set up for a medium to large driver.

    Engine: 498 BBC, 14.5:1 Diamond pistons, Eagle 4.25 crank, Eagle 6" rods, worked steel heads, Lunati roller: (Part # 50222) .424-.722, 1050 Dominator (gas) from the Carb shop, Dart Intake Manifold, ATI Harmonic Balancer, stud girdles, and guide plates. Burlington Performance out of Raytown, MO built the motor.

    Fuel System: BG 280 pump, 5 gallon cell, braided line from cell to carb. 2 fuel pressure gauges.

    Oil & Water System: Aluminum radiator, Meziere electric water pump. High volume oil pump.

    Electrical System: Completely wired with white aircraft wires and connectors.
    ARC over head module 6 switch panel, MSD 7AL-2 box, crank trigger, electric shifter (Shifnoid) . MSD 2 step, MSD RPM activated switch, Line loc, Trans brake and Throttle stop. Biondo Mega 450. Two red top Optima batteries. Car is wired for alternator and head light.

    Gear Box: Hughes Power Glide with a 176 low gear and Turbo input shaft. (2 passes). Custom built Coan 5500 converter (2 passes) TCI trans shield, CSR flexplate shield. TCI flexplate Trans cooler.

    Final Drive: Mark Williams braced Ford 9", Mark Williams center section with a Richmond Pro 488 gear. Mark Williams 40 spline gun drilled axels. New Mark Williams wheel studs, new Mark Williams drive stud washers (0 passes on studs and washers) Mark Williams drive shaft, and Mark Williams disc brakes on rear.

    Body: 69 Camaro original top and quarters. Removable glass doors, front end, and decklid. Car was painted bright red in early 90's paint is still in good condition, Simpson Parachute, rear wing.

    Chassis: Full round tube Alston chassis, spindle mount front wheels, Strange front brakes with new Strange lightweight 10" slotted directional rotors offset 1.00" and new Strange brake pads (0 passes on rotors and pads), Strange struts, Mark Williams rear brakes (less than 50 passes) 4 link, anti roll, track locator, funny car cage. Wheelie bars. Has cups for Pro Jacks on Chassis. Koni coilovers.

    Interior: All AutoMeter Gauges, Liquid Filled Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Fuel Pressure with isolator. Voltmeter and Memory Tach are not filled. Low Oil Pressure Warning light. Autogage trans temp. Removable dash, steering wheel, seat, trans cover and section between tubs to access 4 link bars. Full Lexan car, Window net. Hurst Quart Stick with Shifnoid. CO2 bottle and mount.

    Tires and Wheels: New Weld Aluma Star 788 series version 2.0 (0 passes on wheels) front Hoosier 25.0 X 4.5 (50 Passes on front tires) 15X15 wheels with Hoosier 33.0 x 15.0 DO5 compound (0 Passes on slicks)

    Spares: Drag Lites Weld Wheels with Goodyear slicks 32.0 x 14.0 (40% left) and Goodyear front runners 24.0 x 5.0 (20% left), Strange lightweight 10" slotted directional rotors offset 1.50"

    Yes if the car is sold as a roller then I will sell the motor, trans, and converter. I will say, I have my eye on a roller 1999 Trans Am.

    The reason I'm sell is to get some cash to finsh my Monte Carlo SS.

    That combo would be killer in my '67 Nova
