I've checked many places and have not see an 01 or 02 Z28 with 52,000 miles and in this condition for this low of a price.

Almost forgot... Asking $xx,xxx <new low price> $11,995, but I'm open to fair offers... just want this baby off my driveway and into a new home.

One more thing... it's not in the ad, most people don't care, but you guys might... It's got the Torsen 3.23 rear, best 1/4 mile time 13.7 @ 102, no mods except the stereo and speakers. I replaced them with Pioneer, but still have the original Monsoon equipment.

Willing to work with out of town buyer, get mechanics inspection for you at a local GoodYear or Tire Kingdom (you pic the place), etc. , etc.

Not really sure why theres no interest. Any piston slap/oil consumption?

Oh, and I do have a suggestion for working with an out of towner. If the car really is in great shape, take it to carmax and have them do their thing with a quote and such. (they inspect it top to bottom and the quote is good for a week)
Then you can fax the carmax paper to anyone, allowing them to both see the car is sound, and having them beat the carmax quote. Worked for me when I sold my evo.

There is no problem whatsoever with the engine. When I floor it, it just purrs... ok, well really ROARS... all the way to redline, smooth as silk.

It's gotten sythetic oil since day 1 within a week after the oil life monitor light comes on.

But no one's even come to look at it. I've gotten a couple nibbles, though.

It uses about a quart of oil between each oil change, which is about 6000 miles. It's done that since day 1 and am told it's common in this engine (right guys) since when it's cold, there's a little extra spacing in the rings to allow for the different heat expansion rates of the steel pistons and alumimum block.

Good idea on the Car Max deal. If an out of town buyer wants me to do that, I'll do that, too.

What price are you looking at paying?

Since if no one wants it by 8/22, it's going to Car Max... if you can beat their offer, I'd rather let you have it than them.
