Who has upgraded to LS1 brakes, I have a ?
I have a 1995 Z28 and I have a set of LS1 rear brakes I would like to install.
I heard that the axle length between LT1 cars and LS1 cars are slightly different.
Can I use the current LT1 axles in conjunction with the LS1 brakes or will they rub causing me to buy LS1 axles?

Never heard that before. The rotor size between an Ls1 and and lt1 on the rear makes it not worth doing. Other options out there that will provide braking preformance. The front is more important than the rear.

As far as I can recall there is no difference in axle length between the two..

Dont waste your time upgrading your rear brakes with stock LS1 pieces. The LS1 setup offers a slightly better parking brake setup, but you wont have any real difference in performance from the brakes themselves. It really isnt worth it. Doing the fronts on the other hand is well worth it.
