All it does is clean up the engine bay a little. Nothing to be gained powerwise.

Only other downside is you need the codes deleted out of the computer. Mail order tune will take care of it.

ok well i am not sure i am stuck on a decision, cause if i get race headers and it throws a code and i get a tune for about $200 all i am paying for is to delete the codes right ? a tune wouldnt do anything else would it? so if i was going to pay $200 for a tune just to get the ses lights off wouldnt u think it would be smart just to stick with the egr/air hookups and save urself $200 ....am i right or not ? fill me in

If you dont want to mess with codes, then yes, just keep the emissions fittings. They arent costing you any power, they just take up some space.

because without the egr it is getting slightly less air. mine had problems idling, but I need to get mine tuned anyways. it ended up being a temporary fix. it still has problems idling without it. the egr does help with that.
