What is the proper torque spec for cylinder head bolts?
Both the chilton and haynes manual state:
1995 & earlier- 65 ft-lbs
1996 & up - First pass 22 ft-lbs. Then an additional 80 degrees for long & medium bolts & an additional 67 degrees for the short bolts.
Any idea of how I'm supposed to do this since my torque wrench stops once it reaches its mark?
Does anyone know what those degrees would correspond to in ft-lbs?
Thanks in advance,
Jay
