Starter Help
hELP! asap~ i just put on a new starter on a 1995 pontiac trans am lt1. after i completed the procedure of installation, as i put the battery terminals on , the car tries to start on its own! i donno what to do, what could be the problem. everything is hooked up right, car is out of gear and keys are not even in the ignition. but tries to start! :

You have crossed or grounded wiring somewhere in the starter harness.

Yes my friend you crossed some wires, or you have a wire grounding out at the starter "two wires touching or hitting the frame and shouldnt be"
Stupid question but is it the right starter?
Get a wiring diagram to check wiring and or find someone with an lt1 to go off of. What was the original problem?
