She ate my MSD wires
Yep, they were on there for quite some time but where the passenger side wires pass behind the serpentine belt turned out to be a bit too tight. One wire slipped forward just enough to catch the belt and it peeled the insulation. Since I had that set of wires zip tied together, well, others suffered as well. Boy she just doesn't seem to run the same, hehe. Anyways, they were a bitch to put in and I think I'm just gonna slap some stock replacements back in there. A set of autolites are around $40 so roughly half the price of the MSD's and I know they will fit in the factory looms. Anybody else had this happen yet?

i have had my msd wires on for a few monmths now and have not had any problems. i have the moroso wires looms for that more secure fit. if you were to get those and stick with the msd they should work out fine. i also have lt's on my ss and it makes for an easier change as well. good luck to ya.

Hehe, wish I would have bought those looms now. I guess this is what I get for being cheap. You're right about changing the wires with the stock manifolds on, it's just a whore. Oh well, looks like I got some pre-superbowl work to do this weekend
