engine light came on...scanned car with autotap and its given me this code "P0100 MAF Sensor Circuit Insufficient Activity".
Does this mean my MAF sensor is bad??? what else could cause this?

mabye not, there is a chance it could be that damn rubber elbow between the maf and the throttle body.MABYE... Take it off and examine it. Is it running like crap? Also if you took out the screens or did any cutting on the maf ..did you cut somethin you shouldnt have?

Take a good look at the metal wires that run in the MAF, see that nothing is fauling them like debris or oil or such... make sure the connection is good, try unplugging/replugging it in/out. if you can get a live reading on the MAF voltage, see that it is actually producing valid data.
